Welcome!
My name is Anneliese (Anni) Kamola (she/her pronouns). I am an author, coach, developmental editor, and writing professor living in Bellingham, WA on the traditional land of the Lummi and Nooksack people.
I have studied storytelling and the creative process for over 25 years via writing, editing, publication, oral storytelling, and theater, and I earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Western Washington University in 2025. I have also studied somatics since 2008, and I bring a wealth of knowledge about trauma, resiliency, and mindfulness to my writing, coaching, editing, and teaching. My writing and storytelling explore themes of the body, lineage, womanhood, and the wild.
I am currently taking clients; please contact me with interest. I look forward to connecting!
